Excavations in the underground chamber found a few months ago revealed yet another amazing discovery. As the archaeologists excavated the chamber, they found a secret entry to a new undiscovered chamber which startled the archaeologists, historians and linguists who've seen it. The chamber seems to be originally a natural cave made by an underground river, but the chamber was later extensively altered. It is of a perfect spherical shape and covered in diamond plates. A single candle is enough to completely light up the chamber now known as the Diamond Chamber. The chamber first appeared to be just an empty sphere but an archaeologist accidentally stepped further into the chamber (the entrance is in the middle of the sphere), yet instead of falling down to the bottom of the sphere, she remained in the air. Because of this accident, archaeologists realized the chamber is not completely empty but it's instead divided into half by a glass-like matter stretching from one side of the sphere to the other in a circular shape. At this point, archaeologists were replaced by historians of all three races; elves, humans and dwarves. They discovered the glass floor has several inscriptions written in circular shape around the centre. The inscriptions are in various languages and writing systems, some of which are unknown to anyone. In the very centre of the circular floor (the centre is also the geometrical centre of the sphere) there is a small bowl. It is still unknown what the purpose of the bowl is or what should be placed in it. Historians and linguists are currently trying to decipher the inscriptions. Everyone hopes this will finally reveal some real clues on how to find the Emerald Keys and finally to discover the Lost Library. Written by: Ashucky |
